Nana Wanjau is the CEO of Branding Beyond Borders (B3). B3 is about connecting great minds globally.

Nana Wanjau is passionate about women empowerment. She believes an  empowered woman leaves no one behind, be it a girl-child, boy-child, orphan, widow, an empowered woman uplifts everyone. Power Woman International is the vehicle she uses to accomplish this mission.

 

Nana is the Founder and Managing Partner at Saltaway Investments Ltd a real estate investment company, with interests in Nairobi and the coastal region. Over the years, Nana has gained a lot of experience in the corporate and entrepreneurial fields first as a senior systems analyst, developer and trainer for Software Applications Ltd. She also served as Sales and Public Relations Director with Taxi-AD (K). Founder of an I.T company Microvisual Consultants which she later sold off.

Philanthropy:

Nana Wanjau builds houses for ostracized widows: No woman should loose her dignity just because she lost her husband.

Nana is the Immediate Past President of the Rotary Club of Nairobi East (2015- 16) where she has worked extensively in implementing transformational community based programs across Kenya. Some of the projects:

1. Water harvesting in 20 schools in Kajiado

2. Bore whole drilling, bio digester, green houses and fish ponds in Kivagala

3. Kazuzabori Japaneses technique of bore holes drilling in Siaya

4. Education scholarships to needy children in the slums of Korogocho.

Nana led a team of 38 climbers to Kilimanjaro as a fundraising initiative. “The road to Uhuru” documentary was created and proceeds from viewing and sales of the documentary go to Charity. As a result her experience with “Road to Uhuru” initiative, Nana was invited to the 91st District Conference and Assembly held at the African Union in Addis Ababa to speak about “Leadership through Service”. Nana is currently writing a book on the Road to Uhuru.

She is Member of OWIT Organisation of Women in International Trade, a member of the Rotary club of Nairobi East (Immediate Past President), a member of IMIS (Institute for the Management of Information Systems) Business Strathmore School She is a freelance writer with The Management Magazine amongst others and a captivating speaker. Nana studied Management Information Systems at the University of Professional Studies and is also an Alumni of the Strathmore Business School where she studied Entrepreneurship in the Owner Manager Program.
